活動報告
日本国際交流センター（JCIE）は、ビル＆メリンダ・ゲイツ財団（BMGF）、感染症流行対策イノベーション連合（CEPI）、国際パンデミック対応事務局（IPPS）およびウェルカム・トラストと連携し、G7広島サミット及び関連閣僚級会合のグローバルヘルスに関わるコミットメントを民間レベルでフォローするイニシアティブを立ち上げました。このフォローアップ・イニシアティブは、JCIEの「グローバルヘルスと人間の安全保障」運営委員会のもとに設置された「2023年広島G7グローバルヘルス・タスクフォース」を通じて構築した国内外の様々なステークホルダーとのネットワークに基づき実施され、パンデミックの予防・備え・対応（PPR）／強靭な保健システムに関するG7の過去のコミットメントの進捗状況を確認し、イタリアが議長国となる2024年G7に引き継ぐべき課題について整理する予定です。
本イニシアティブのキックオフとして、2023年6月27日（火）に、Reflection Event on 2023 G7’s commitments on greater resilience to future pandemics（「G7サミットを振り返る：将来起き得るパンデミックへのレジリエンスを高めるためのG7の合意」）を開催し、2023年G7における、PPR/強靭な保健システムに関する合意について振り返り、G7のコミットメントを実現するために取り得るアクションについて議論しました。
